Privacy Policy

Last updated June 29, 2026

eyespy is a daily-photo app for friends. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app and we never sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

eyespy has no likes, reactions, or comments, so we do not collect engagement metrics on your photos.

Contacts

Finding friends from your contacts is optional and only runs after you tap “find from contacts” and grant permission. When you do, the email addresses in your contacts are checked against eyespy accounts to show who is already here. We do not store your contacts or upload your full address book, and we never message your contacts without you choosing to send an invite.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only to capture the photo you choose to post for the day’s prompt. The photo library is accessed only if you pick an existing photo to upload. We do not browse, scan, or upload anything you do not explicitly post.

How your photos are shared

How we use your information

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export a copy of your data at any time from Settings, and you can delete your account from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, and friend connections from the live service.

Your choices

Children

eyespy is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use it. If we learn we have collected data from a child under that age, we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to notify you of any material incident as required by law.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will revise the “last updated” date above. Questions about your privacy? Contact us at support@eyespy.app.
